WHERE WILL I PARK?
The Steeple Center has a free parking lot located behind the building. There is also another row of free parking spots directly across the street from the Steeple Center. If both of those lots are full, there is street parking as well.
CAN I SIT BY MY FRIENDS?
Yes! The best way to guarantee a spot together is to purchase tickets for you and your guests together and enter everyone’s names. That way we’ll know you’re a group!
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Cocktail/formal attire- We all need an excuse to dress up every now and then!
ARE YOU A 501c3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION?

Come join us at the Greenway in South Minneapolis for The Haven’s 3rd Annual 5k event!
RACE DETAILS
General Info
This will be a family friendly event so everyone is welcome whether you’re running, walking, pushing a stroller or cheering people on! The race will not be timed but there will be mile markers if you are keeping your own time.

First, second, and third place will receive a PRIZE at the end of the race! Prizes will be announced race day and can be collected at the registration table after the race.
Course Info
The 5K features a single stretch on the Greenway Trail in South Minneapolis. The course begins at the Urban Ventures parking lot located at 2840 5th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55408. The course is set on the public paved pedestrian trail, so make sure you are cognizant of others as this is not a private roped off event.
Parking
There is free street parking on all the neighboring streets in South Minneapolis. There will also be free parking at CityView Church’s parking lot on a first come first serve basis, located at 3041 4th Ave S, Minneapolis MN, 55408. CityView is located three blocks from the starting line.
Start Time
There will be a single wave that starts at 10:00am. Runners should be checked in and ready at the starting line by 9:45AM. The starting line will be marked by two large start signs.
Pricing
Adults 18 and older - $40
Kids 6 and older -$20
Kids 5 and under- FREE
Families with more than one child only need to pay the $20 for one child and the rest are free! You do not need to register children who are free but there is a “t-shirt only” option to purchase a $10 t-shirt for them, if you’d like.

Frank Schmidt
We have the honor and privilege of hearing from Frank Schmidt, who currently serves as the Director of Revive, an after school youth mentoring program at Hope Academy. Him and his wife, Alyssa, have been serving Minneapolis youth together for the past 12 years. We are so excited to welcome him to our gala!

Our first annual gala will feature games, live music, dinner, raffle prizes, spoken word artist TEN20, guest speaker Mauri Friestleben, and more!
